Our Evaporators ( or something like that ) 

This is the wood stove we first boiled on outside after making a mess inside

We made this Barrel evaporator the 2nd year we boiled, we used a 12x16 broiler Pan  We boiled and boiled and....boiled and made around 

3/4 of a  gallon.

The next year we made a set of stainless pans and made 5 gallons.

After that we bought a Leader Half Pint

And made 15 gallons

Were we satisfied??

No

So we went bigger with lots more trees to tap!!

This was "Alice" our 2x6 Algier raised flue Wood Fired Evaporator

Then we added Oil

And then a hood and preheater

Now we have the 3x8 wood fired beast!
