Jerry in Michigan

Back

What a great Shack Jerry... He writes "I have a Waterloo/Small 4'x12' with a preheater hood and suspended front hood. The building is 16'x24'. . This is mostly my retirement job in four years. I have 1200 taps to start out. I hope to run it all on gravity flow since the saphouse is at the bottom of 3 valleys. I have room to expand with 180 acres which is why I went with a larger size evaporator. I hope to build a better camp as I will have to stay there. The plowed road is 2 miles away. The nearest electricity is 15 miles. I live 40 miles away so it would be impossible to boil after work. I've been saving for many years as I didn't want to go into debt for this. It all started many years ago with a few trees, a flat pan, and an open fire. That's when I caught the bug." icon_wink.gif
